“Shall We Join Marine Corps Boot Camp Training during Summer Vacation?”

The Marine Corps Strategy Camp (www.camptank.com), a private boot camp operator, said that it will offer the 20th Marine Corps Super Leadership Camp’ from July 26 to August 13 for students during their summer vacation.
At the training camp, which will be provided at Muju Training Town in Jeollabuk-do, participants will experience a variety of real-like military training programs under veteran instructors discharged from marine corps training camps, including ▲correct posture training, ▲basic physical training, ▲guerilla training, ▲graveyard horror experience and ▲IBS training. Trainees will also experience the life of army camp such as barracks life, standing sentry and roll call.
For personality education, the training camp also includes such programs as ▲logical way of thinking, avatar storytelling, ▲servant leadership, ▲team work training for nursing home volunteer service activities and discipline, ▲community training for volunteer service and sacrifice, ▲education of dining etiquette, and ▲anti-computer game addiction training.
The Camp plans to put emphasis on education of communications between parents and children as well as between brothers and sisters by providing courses guided by instructors who have been teaching in SBS TV’s program titled ‘Our Children are Changed’ since 2008.
Participation fees are 380,000 won per person for 4 nights 5 days-program, 800,000 won for 11 nights 12 days-program, and 1.6 million won for 11 nights and 12 days-program. Fee for enrollment by a family of parents and children will be discounted by 10%, and a group of over 5 persons will be discounted by 20%. Students ranging from second grades of primary schools to college students will be admitted.
The training camp, which is operated by marine corps reservists, trained more than 45,000 teenagers since its launch in 2003, including about 12,500 girl students (27%). (Contact : 1644-0242)
